Shopmobility

Shopmobility Market Harborough are delighted with the results of becoming part of Harborough Lotto right from its launch.

We are putting the money raised back into the community by using it to help maintain our fleet of mobility scooters and wheelchairs.

They are hired out on a short or long term basis to the people of Market Harborough and surrounding area who struggle with their mobility, which can be due to illness, injury, operation or long-term disability.

With the use of the mobility scooters and wheelchairs, the charity enables people to maintain their independence, participate in activities and enjoy the local community, and prevent them from becoming isolated.

We are in the process of producing new leaflets and will be promoting the Harborough Lotto as an easy way to support Shopmobility in the leaflet.

We are planning a Sponsored Scooter Ride at the Summer Fayre at Welland Park Academy on 21 July. If anyone would like to take part, or indeed sponsor us, please contact the Shopmobility Office on 0116 305 2343 or e-mail them at [email protected].
